Charles 'Maverick' McCann

With over 30 years in the Financial Services Industry, Charles is still about the most successful practitioner in Scotland. His Company has over 1,500 private clients, and 250 corporate customers. Among his private clients are some of Scotland’s leading personalities, the firm acts for in excess of 50 Millionaires.

However, Charles still finds time to raise funds for the various charities which he supports. He climbed Kilimanjaro in 2000, raising significant funds for one of them.

He owns and flies a helicopter which is used for business and pleasure. As you can see from the information on this website, 'Maverick McCann' is taking on the challenge to fly a tiny helicopter across America and the North Atlantic, to raise further funds for his charities, and achieve another of his ambitions.

At 58, a fitness fanatic, Charles continues to direct his bountiful energies into running his businesses, dedicating quality time to his family and raising money for many good causes. He is married to Moira, has two sons - Richard and Chris - and a grandson, Cody.

Glenn 'Rhino' Reindel

Glenn Reindel has been at the forefront of the global property industry for over 20 years. He is currently Chairman of the Mayfair based property company, TIC Ltd (www.ticltd.com). Glenn was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1966 and grew-up on a banana plantation. His first experience of exploring the globe came whilst in the pursuit of his favourite pastime, extreme surfing. In more recent years his preferred method of discovery has been through his passion for flying helicopters. Glenn is a fan of all sports and all outdoor activities.

'Soozy' (our helicopter)

Soozy - derived from the Oozlum bird, a particularly rare mythical creature, supposedly able to do many fantastic things. This includes being able to fly backwards, mainly to admire its own beautiful tail feathers, and flying in ever-decreasing circles until it manages to fly up itself, disappearing completely! Some say that it simply flies backwards because, while it does not know where it is going, it likes to know where it has been.
